I was most looking forward to visiting the Grand Canyon on our trip to Vegas.
We'd booked a helicopter ride over the beautiful landscape and were stopping for lunch at the bottom of the canyon.
Then the weather turned bad - like foggy, gross, rainy, can't see the top of the buildings bad!
Inevitably our helicopter trip got postponed and then cancelled completely on our last day.
Ah WHAT?!
So we headed back to Cesar's Palace for a spot of retail therapy and lunch at Cheesecake Factory.
After lunch we took a stroll back to the hotel and enjoyed the views from his parent's suite at dusk.
It was a beautiful end to the trip even if we didn't get to visit the Grand Canyon.
Vegas is a weird and wonderful place. You need to visit it at least once in your life but it's okay if you don't feel like you want to go back.
If I ever were to go back I would definitely try a different hotel, the Aria was good but it was let down by the restaurants - they were all ridiculously overpriced and the food wasn't even that great. Aria, you need to sort yourself out!
