Christmas Eve ~ The Blonde B

26 December 2013

Christmas Eve

'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house,
not a creacher was stirring, not even a mouse.

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
in hopes that Saint Nicholas soon would be there.

The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
while visions of sugar plums danced in their heads...

(...Except we were really up past our bedtimes having a few quiet drinks down in Marbella)

Pictures with JoBro, Jade and the men,
the women joined in with pictures of them.

After a dinner at Bogart's with squabbles and food,
the children decided to change-up the mood.

Off to Marbella they soon saw it fit,
whilst battling the rain, the wind and the grit.

We worried old Santa wouldn't bring us our gifts,
whilst Charlotte battled a bad case of the sniffs.

All Callum could think of was his turkey dinner,
whilst Jonathan got tipsy causing damage to his liver.

Jade was quite quiet sipping her beer
we need to go home, I think now, my dear.

At quarter to four we walked through the door,
whilst dropping sweet Callum off on his front porch.

The cousin and I we had a sleepover
not before checking that Santa'd been over.

A tree full of presents that's what we saw,
good old St. Nick! We were in awe!

But I heard him exclaim, as he drove out of sight
"Happy Christmas to all and to all a good night!"
