Sinful Sangria

We're just about to slip in to the weekend. It's Friday afternoon the end is in sight. The end of a long week, deserves a celebratory long drink with friends. 

El fin de semana está a punto de llegar. Es viernes por la tarde y esto ya se acaba. El fin de una larga semana, merece una copa de celebración con amigos.

So here we have it. Summer in a glass jug. 

Pues aquí lo tienes. El verano en una copa jarra.

So you're gonna need a long spoon and a glass jug

Necesitas una cuchara larga y una copa jarra

And all these other naughty ingredients:

Martini Rosso

Rum

Brandy

Vodka

Licor 43 (you could add a couple drops of vanilla essence instead)  

Red Wine

Chopped up fruit (apples, strawberries and oranges)

Mixed canned fruit (peach, pear, grapes and so on)

Fanta Orange

Fanta Limón

Sugar

Y estos sabrosos ingredientes:

Martini Rosso

Ron

Brandy

Vodka

Licor 43 (o Licor 56)

Vino tinto

Fruta troceada (manzana, fresa, naranja...)

Fruta en almíbar 

Fanta naranaja

Fanta limón

Azúcar

Fill your jug with ice  cubes
Llena la jarra con hielos

Then add Martini Rosso up to 6 counts.

Luego añade el Martini rosso mientras cuentas hasta 6.

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6..... Stop!

Do the same with the rum
Haz lo mismo con el ron

And with the brandy, vodka and licor 43
Y con el brandy, vodka y licor 43

In goes the fruit

Échale la fruta

Then it's red red wine time. Fill the jug up to about half way.
Llegó la hora del vino tinto. Llena la jarra con vino hasta la mitad.

Now add 3-4 spoonfuls of sugar
Ahora añade 3-4 cucharaditas de azúcar

Top it up with orange and lemon fanta
Llena el resto con fanta de naranja y limón

And stir your Sinful Sangría
Y mezcla tu Sangría Pecaminoso

Is your mouth dry too? Calm yourselves, all that´s left to do is pour and serve
Tienes la boca seca como yo? Tranquilos lo único que queda es servirla

Kick off your shoes. Sit back and relax. It's the weekend, no work till Monday.
Quítate los zapatos y relajáte. Es el finde, no trabajas hasta el lunes. 

P.S: Sangria is a great fruit punch drink if you're having a party or a BBQ! Even for the morning after party, just chuck all of your leftover alcohol into a jug, throw in some fruit, red wine, sugar and top it off with fizzy citrus juice and finito!

P.D: Si tienes una barbacoa o una fiesta, la Sangría es el mejor ponche de frutas! Incluso puedes hacer una al día siguiente de una fiesta con todo el alcohol que te sobra, simplemente échalo todo en una jarra, mezclalo con fruta, vino tinto, azúcar, rellena con fanta y finito!
